Harsha Bhogle on Excellence
I came across a 5 year old speech given by Harsha Bhogle at IIM-A on excellence (He himself is an IIM-A graduate and is a famous cricket commentator). Though this whole speech was too lengthy (to be precise 1 hr 17 minutes) but it was worth listening and I enjoyed every bit of it.
Here is an excerpt from that 1 hr video:

I'm jotting few of the points from his speech on excellence:
- Excellence never seeks excuse
- Every time give your 100% whatever you do
- Excellence can never go along with ego & anger
- Don't worry about the end results...do your job ethically
- Work ethic, passion and attitude counts far more than ability
- Surround yourself with excellent people whom you can look up to
- Accept your mistakes, recognize them, work on those & bounce back
- Talent alone can't make you successful...you have to have the right attitude
- Luck is a combination of preparation & identifying the right opportunity
- Don't be scared of failures..challenge your limits
- Don't grudge others success
- Share your knowledge
