Race To Raisina Hills

As president Kalam's 5 year term is about to complete there are a lot of speculations for who will be the next occupant of the palatial raisina hills. After UP elections the next big thing happening is the president's election and all the political parties are gearing up for this.

Though none of the parties have announced any official candidate for the coveted post but there are few names taking rounds across the circle.BJP is suppose to file the Vice President Shekhawat's name...i think this tradition needs to be changed....being a Vice president doesn't means you also fits into the president shoes. On the other hand congress is supposed to file Shushil K Shinde reason being he is a dalit and he can easily get support from BSP...*sigh* this caste based politics...this is taking us nowhere, i think people should get out of this.

Why we a Billion people country is not able to find a person who really deserves for the post .
Any guesses...who can be the Mr. Right...well i think Narayan Murthy/Karan Singh/
K.Kasturirangan(Former ISRO Head),etc. are the few names we can give a thought.

Also,I wonder why there is no consensus on allowing Kalam for the second term...He truly had done a tremendous job in last 5 years....we should not allow a person to become Head of the state just because he is from this or that caste or community...we need a person who had a vision to do something, who had some plans to give country a direction and who is not just a rubber stamp of the ruling party or a coalition....

Back to blogging

well for last one month i was too busy that couldn't got much time to write anything...but yes i can't leave my blog page forbidden for long.....there were lot of things which were on mind and want to express but this hectic schedule/deadlines really kills *sigh*.... Yup! i understand there is lot more than this 9 to 6 job (which usually stretches from 9 to 9 or 10 rather)...well am really looking for a break...let this quarter come to an end and I'll be going somewhere to the hills or may be going to rishikesh for rafting....though not too sure about it.
