Promotion Denied

Kiran Bedi the 1972 IPS officer and also the first woman IPS officer of the country was eying for the post of Delhi Police commissioner and why not she was having seniority as well as the merit by her side....but the officer junior to her by 2 years Y.S.Dadwal was made the police commissioner.
Other day I saw her interview in a TV channel late in the night wherein she was lashing out at the government and i guess it is justified too....Well my take is that it's not always that the person who works honestly,who deserves promotion,who works hard gets promoted there are other factors too like how much booze parties you attend,how many connections you are having in various political parties and how much favors you have done for someone......
